We have four different drum kits in stock and you also have a choice of skin type (with or without hair), frame and cord colour. In the complete DIY drum building kits you choose a frame size and a type of skin and we supply the best quality cord with it. During checkout you can indicate your colour preferences: for the hairy skin (black, white, brown or patchy) and for the cord. And then? To make your drum yourself we have placed three free instruction videos on Sjamaan.nl! The first instruction video covers the basics: the preparations to get the skin ready. You soak the skin and punch holes in it. A hole punch is handy for this, but an awl with a hammer works too. In the second video you learn the lacing of the cord through the drum and finally making the handle. In the instruction video you have the choice of making a cord handle or incorporating a metal ring. With a metal ring in the centre of the drum, you can decorate the drum or use a piece of wood as a handle. The complete DIY drum building kits are supplied excluding ring.
