Frame
You can choose between a drum frame made of ash or willow. We select the frame that best matches the skin. If you have a preference for a type of wood, please mention it in the comments during the ordering process.
Drum skin
We have different skins in stock. Do you have a preference for thickness? Or for a hairy skin: short hair, long hair, or many hair whorls? Please mention this in the comments field during the ordering process.
Robe
We supply rope of excellent quality, so you can start right away. We choose a rope color that matches the skin. If you have a preference for a color, please mention it in the comments field during the ordering process.
Our skins
Skins are a natural product from a living being, a spirit. That is why we consciously source the skins for our shamanic drums and the skins with which you can create your own spiritual drum or healing drum. With the creation of the drum, the spirit of the animal receives a new life and can do much good in its new form.
We have 25 years of experience in buying and selling drum skins, maintain good contact with our suppliers in Pakistan, and therefore know that the animals have been treated with respect and were not killed for their skins. At Sjamaan.nl you are assured of the best quality.

Step 1
Before you begin, soak the drum skin in water for about 2 hours. In the first video you will learn the basics of building the drum.
Step 2
With the second video you tighten the drum and create a beautiful handle.
