The punch iron, also known as a hollow pipe, makes holes of 3 mm, perfectly matching the rope we sell. With a hammer you make perfect holes for your shamanic drum.
Punch iron
To lace the rope or lace through the drum skin, you make holes in the hide. There are different ways to do this, but using a hole punch pliers or a punch iron gives the neatest result. These are two different ways of working. Using hole punch pliers requires more strength in your hands than punching holes with a punch iron and hammer. Not sure which method suits you best?
