Special drum skins extra large (80 or 100 centimetres in diameter) have been prepared smooth using a natural process. All drum hides are suitable for building your own shamanic drum. You can use them to make a large frame drum yourself, but also a mother drum or Siberian sun drum. Or a shamanic drum where the hide continues across the back of the frame.

With a hairy drum skin your own spiritual drum will resonate with low tones, with a hairless hide your drum will resonate with overtones.
