Pink is the color of care, compassion and gentleness. It is often associated with femininity, love and emotional openness. Pink invites softness, comfort and the receiving and giving of love, both towards others and towards yourself.
The intensity of pink determines the feeling the color evokes. Soft shades such as salmon have a calming and supportive effect and create a sense of safety and comfort. Brighter shades such as fuchsia carry more strength and expression and stimulate vitality, self-love and the courage to show emotions.
