How does a drum building workshop work?

The first step is to pick a frame that fits you Is it 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 or 55 cm? And what wood? Willow, Mulberry, Ash, Maple, Rosewood and whatever else is out there.

Which spirit is calling you? You feel what skin belongs on your Drum. A Horse, Cow, Goat or a Moose, Camel or whatever else is present.
Next, you get to know the materials of your drum during the introduction ceremony.

The skin is prepared and goes into the water.

Making the frame all your own by sanding up and greasing it with a nice oil.

Optional: making your drumstick. You may have a message or symbol for your drum that you want to impart on your stick.

The skin is wet enough and you are going to punch holes in it.

Thread, thread, thread and the tree, the animal and you unite, become one.
8.
And then your Drum is ready. Time for the initiation ceremony and you will learn how to play, deploy and use your Drum.
